The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has sponsored partnerships with industry, academic institutions, environmental groups, and other agencies to launch sector-specific Compliance Assistance Centers (Centers). The Centers offer you access to the information you need, in a way that helps you make sense of environmental regulations.
Each Center addresses real world issues faced by a specific industry or government sector. The Centers deliver information in many forms: Internet web sites, telephone assistance lines, fax-back systems, and e-mail discussion groups. Let the Centers help you understand your environmental requirements -- and show you how to save money by preventing pollution in the first place.

NTSBDC Introduces Homeland Security Guide at ASBDC Conference
The Risk Management SBDC at the Bill Priest Institute in Dallas, Texas has developed a homeland security guide for small businesses. The guide was developed with the support of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and in cooperation with the North Texas SBDC and the Association of Small Business Development Centers. Bill Weddle, the author of the guide, develped this resource for SBDC couselors and their clients to address the question many small business owner are asking today: "How is my small business going to have any effect on homeland security?"
